We Rebuild Intermittent Movements!
The "heart" of a projector is the intermittent movement. When you hear unusual noises during operation, the movement may be headed for failure. Another sign of probable failure is unexplained vertical "jitter" on the screen. Total failure of the intermittent puts you "off the screen" until a replacement is installed.
Protect against failure by lubricating the intermittent movement with proper oil, according to the manufacturer's recommendations!
